About Rieber & Søn

Rieber & Søn is a family-owned Norwegian investment company with an industrial legacy dating back to 1839.

Development and results require a will to change and the ability to look ahead. This mind-set is central to our approach as investors. We strive to be a catalyst for renewal, while ensuring a common view of the way ahead.

We invest with a long-term perspective, and seek to learn as much as we can about the companies and sectors in which we invest. As investors, we respect and value the experience and know-how built and cultivated within the companies. On this basis, Rieber & Søn seeks to serve as an active partner for management in developing the business, for the benefit of employees, owners and society at large.
