Changes in shareholders

The Rieber family controls 87.92 percent of the shares in Rieber & Søn after the deadline of a mandatory offer to sell shares has expired.

A mandatory offer for all shares in Rieber & Søn was triggered by the Rieber family merging their personally owned shares into a new company, AS Zee Ploeg.

Shareholders controlling a total amount of 29 055 765 shares chose to accept the offer. Orkla and Folketrygdfondet are amongst the share holders who have sold all their shares in Rieber & Søn. These companies were previously the second largest and third largest owners with 16.02 percent (Orkla) and 9.43 percent (Folketrygdfondet) of the shares.

On 5 August 2010, AS Zee Ploeg owns a total of 33,771,404 shares representing 43.54% of Rieber & Søn. Along with AS Atlantis Vest’s share of 44,38 percent, the Rieber family controls a total of 87.92 percent of the shares in Rieber & Søn.
