Working for Rieber & Søn
Values & Ethics
Rieber & Søn shall be characterised by
Confidence and credibility
Authorities, customers, business partners, owners and employees shall have confidence in us; we shall be credible and compliant at all levels of the organisation. "We keep our promises" shall be a fundamental obligation for us.
Responsibility
Each of us has an obligation to work loyally to achieve the targets that we as a company have set for ourselves, and to support the adopted strategies and actions. Through attitudes and action we shall take responsibility for each other and the further growth of the company.
Commitment and innovation
We shall make room for innovation and "creative madness". We will prepare the way for personal development and motivate and support our employees to take responsibility. Personal commitment will also promote freedom and the confidence to disagree. "Do not expect anything original from an echo" is our guideline. When correctly channelled, creative tension and dynamism are positive forces that can contribute to the development of the organisation.
Respect
Respect for the customers. Respect for laws and regulations. Respect for different opinions. Respect for the environment. Respect for... The list can go on and on. Loyalty towards and respect for our fellow-employees, regardless of sex, opinions, beliefs, political stance or ethnicity - this goes without saying. The same applies to management decisions and the laws that regulate our business.
Work ethics
All of Rieber & Søn’s business activities shall be profitable. This is the key to the creation of secure and attractive jobs. Value creation shall take place within legal and ethically accepted norms. In this way our activity, also in an extended perspective, will play a useful role in society.
Every Business unit shall have guidelines for
• Psychosocial working environment
• Treating employees in reorganization processes
• Ways of co-operation
• Systems and management tools
• Duty of confidentiality in economy and secret information
• Competence in management and decisions
• Loyalty to company strategies and guidelines, but see "Commitment and Innovation" above
